I graduated with a bachelor of science in psychology from Regent University in 2014. I went on to graduate with a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling in 2018 and furthered my education by obtaining a graduate certificate in trauma and crisis counseling as well as various trauma training through different organizations.
My heart is with individuals and families who have experienced trauma. I also work with kids who have behavioral issues, depression, and anxiety. I believe in equipping parents to support their children in the best possible way. Sometimes well-meaning parents add to the problems unintentionally. I want to help parents gain tools they need to best help their children.
In 2008 I started a single mom’s ministry at a local
Church, supporting them in raising their kids alone. I volunteered with Beautiful Dream Society from 2014-2016. I started working at Tri City Family and Youth services in 2016, where I counseled children and taught parenting classes. I then went to work at Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services working with individuals who had various disabilities.
I am a mother of four. Three boys and one girl who I raised on my own for 15 years. I re-married in 2019 and now have two steps sons to add to my family. I am family-oriented and enjoy playing games and watching sports with them. In my free time; I read, write, and refurbish old furniture.
